Some more...Paramore.

I am still obsessed with the new Paramore song, Decode. That means you are all going to have to put up with another post from me rambling on about how much I like this song.
I like this.
I really like this song.
I love this song.
I really, really, really love this song.
EDIT: I've added the official video, as my previous post only had a fan made one.
Ok...I can see it's time for me to put my university education to use, and actually construct meaningful sentences.
I am proud to say that I heard this song before seeing the movie from which it will feature. Of course, seeing as I do not reside in the Northern Hemisphere, and have no access to any objects that can bend the time-space continuum and fast forward myself into the future, there is no way possible that I could have seen the movie (liking the big words I'm using? Wait, I endeavour to use more!). For once, I can say that I didn't end up enjoying a song because of a particular movie.
Paramore wrote this song for the movie Twilight. Lead singer Hayley Williams was a fan of the books, and I think it shows. Themes of discovery, truth, death, and of course, love. The title Decode is almost a specific reference to the nature of the relationship between the two leads. However, what relationship isn't about trying to "decode" what your partner is trying to express, in one form or another?
Hayley Williams' voice is surprisingly good. She has a unique way of pronunciation, with her choice of phrasing sometimes causing me to wonder about her accent. Band members Josh Farro, Jeremy Davis and Zac Farro compliment the voice and lyrics with (ok...watch me struggle for words now...) riffs and beats that initially catch my attention with its simplicity, but also its ability to draw me into the song. I love the way the song starts with just the electric guitar.
The other thing I love about this band is when they perform, they really get into and really enjoy it. That feeling is contagious for the viewer.
Have I mentioned how much I like this song??
