Bizarre Love Triangle

Interpretation.
What an excellent word it is.
For one simple word, you can hide almost anything inadequate, different, underappreciated.
Interpretation is something that is unique and different for everyone. In some instances, there are wrong and right answers, but when it comes to artistic forms of expression, the boundaries are removed.
I love it when artists re-interpret songs, and highlight it in such a way that shows another dimension to the song. For me, this is most impressive when up tempo songs are slowed down.
My favourite remade fast song is Bizarre Love Triangle, originally by New Order, remade in 1994 by Frente!
The song in its original format is a distinctive 1980’s new wave song, driven by synthesizer beats. Considered a classic by many, it is undoubtedly, one of the best songs New Order ever released. Catchy, dancey and just pure fun.
And then, there’s Frente!...
A definite change of pace, with a different set of feelings evoked. Raw, simple, delicate. Something to wind down to after all that crazy dancing to New Order.

You're spot on, it is definitely a classic. Has a little more depth than your average New Wave pop song...maybe that's why it works so well when you slow it down.
Thanks for dropping by!
